Applications are reviewed promptly. You’ll be notified by text, email or app notification, within 24 to 48 hours of the club’s decision.

To apply for membership, you must read and agree to our Membership Agreement. Agreeing to these terms does not grant you membership.

The Sanctuary SLC Terms of Service Agreement

Introduction

The Sanctuary SLC is a spiritual community that celebrates the diversity of human experience and the many paths that lead to wisdom, love, and connection. By applying for membership, being a member, and/or attending an event, you represent and warrant that you agree to the following Terms of Service Agreement, which includes our Core Values and Faith Principles.

Core Values

  1. Rooted in Love, Partnership, and Personal Sovereignty: We recognize the importance of love, partnership, and personal sovereignty in our community.
  2. Intentional Connection and Community: We cultivate meaningful relationships through honest communication, active listening, and empathy.
  3. Embracing Compersion and Growth: We value the growth and joy that comes from nurturing multiple, loving relationships.
  4. Authentic Communication and Vulnerability: We commit to open, honest, and respectful communication.
  5. Personal Growth, Evolution, and Spiritual Exploration: We encourage individuals to explore their own spirituality, desires, and boundaries.
  6. Non-Hierarchical Structure and Shared Leadership: We reject patriarchal and matriarchal structures, embracing a non-hierarchical approach that honors the wisdom and autonomy of each individual.

Membership Requirements and Process

  • You must be 21 years of age or older to apply for membership.
  • Membership is contingent upon approval by the Sanctuary SLC membership committee.
  • Payment of membership fees and user fees does not guarantee membership approval.
  • If your membership application is denied, you will be refunded the unused portion of your membership fees, minus any user fees paid for temporary access.

Rules and Regulations

  • Consent: Enthusiastic consent is required for any form of contact or interaction.
  • No Prostitution or Illegal Solicitation: No member shall engage in prostitution, solicit sexual acts for money, or receive money for any sexual act.
  • No Illegal Drugs or Weapons: No member shall possess or use illegal drugs or weapons on Sanctuary premises.
  • Respect for Others: Members shall be respectful and kind to everyone, including staff and other members.
  • Privacy: The privacy of our members and guests is paramount.
  • No Photography or Recording: No cameras, video or audio equipment, or cell phones shall be used in private areas without written permission from management.
  • No Inappropriate Conduct: Members shall not engage in any behavior that is disruptive, loud, obnoxious, or inconsiderate.

Release of Liability and Assumption of Risk

By participating in Sanctuary SLC events and activities, you assume all risk of personal injury, death, disease, or property loss. You release and hold harmless the Sanctuary SLC, its owners, employees, agents, and members from any liability for injuries or damages.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Sanctuary SLC, its owners, employees, agents, and members from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your membership or participation in Sanctuary SLC events.

Arbitration and Governing Law

Any disputes arising out of this agreement shall be settled by binding arbitration. This agreement shall be governed by the laws of the state in which it is signed.

Changes to This Agreement

The Sanctuary SLC reserves the right to modify or update this agreement at any time. Members will be notified of any changes, and continued membership or participation in events constitutes acceptance of the updated agreement.

Membership Levels and Benefits

We offer three levels of membership:

  • Level 1: Silver: Access to community events, workshops, and online resources $20 per month.
  • Level 2: Gold: All Silver benefits, plus Friday and Saturday night tickets included except for 6 exclusive annual events per year, and access to reserve space at the sanctuary for $100 for 2 hours Sunday through Thursday ($150/month)
  • Level 3: Platinum: All Silver and Gold benefits, plus access to reserve space at the sanctuary at no additional cost for 2 hours Sunday through Thursday, and exclusive events included ($400/month)
